I am looking for an experienced Organisational Development Support Officer to join a busy HR team, currently in the midst of lots of challenging projects - a perfect opportunity for the right person to gain lots of experience.

The post holder will provide effective and efficient administrative, organisational and HR support to the corporate organisational development team in their delivery of improvement activity relating to culture, performance management, management capacity and employee involvement.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Responsible for the organisation, co-ordination and some facilitation of a range of employee involvement activities including employee surveys, new starter/leaver questionnaires and focus groups.
• Responsible for the co-ordination, analysis and reporting of data from employee involvement activities, including end of year activity reports.
• Responsible for the administration and co-ordination of the Employee Suggestion Scheme including responding to employees who have submitted suggestions, progress chasing officer feedback, preparation of papers for panel meetings and chasing implementation of approved suggestions.
• Responsible for the employee recognition scheme providing support to directorates and organising the award process. Also production of the annual roll of honour for achievement in learning and development.
• Responsible for communication, promotion and improvements of employee involvement and recognition activities including regular updating of the Change and Exchange intranet sites.
• Provision of organisational and administrative support for audits of HR practice, preparing and presenting resultant information in suitable and appropriate formats.
• Provision of support to management development activity, including planning, administration and supporting facilitation.
• Oversee the Buddies mentoring scheme including sourcing new recruits to the scheme, training of mentors and matching of mentors/mentees.
• Undertake research to enable benchmarking and to inform good practice for policy and process development.
• Provision of support for corporate HR training e.g. recruitment and selection and PDR.


In addition to your previous experience of working in an administrative setting you will also have experience of dealing with a wide variety of customers in a work setting, organising and servicing meetings/training events and note/minute taking and using a range of computer applications and ICT. You should also have a knowledge and understanding of organisational development.
