An opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller with sound knowledge of sales ledger has arisen to join my clients finance team based in Leyton, East London. This is a very hands-on, varied role that will include a lot of telephone activity working with a sales ledger consisting of hundreds of sole traders.

Main duties:

• Take responsibility of all aspects of Credit Control
• Completion of all month end processes
• Establishing credit limits
• Opening new accounts
• Chasing outstanding debts via telephone and email
• Instigating litigation processes where required
• Allocation of incoming payments


Ideal candidate:

• 3 years in Credit Control
• Experience with a large sales ledger
• Excellent telephone manner
• Working knowledge of Sage and Excel
• Experience of asset based invoice discounting
• Team player with great communication skills
