Parts Manager

I am seeking applications from suitable candidate for a Supply Chain role I am currently recruiting.

Running the parts department for a prestigious automotive company, the role is not your typical stock management position. Quality is inherent and of the upmost importance in all duties, products and services they perform for prestigious clients from around the world.

Specific duties will include:

• Sourcing new suppliers of finished engineered parts, very rarer are these ‘off the shelf’
• Modernising and introducing new processes, procedures and systems for purchasing, supply management and inventory control, within an expanding organisation with thousands of SKU’s
• Controlling a multi-million pound spend and team of dedicated parts specialists



Experience required

• Ideally from a related sector such as engineering or automotive manufacture, you will have led sourcing and inventory change
• Minimum of five years at managerial level
• Be able to understand engineering blueprint schematics
• Be able to demonstrate leadership and the ability to interact at all levels of a company
• Have a good level of I.T. knowledge, you will be expected to review, report on and implement a new systems and ways of working.
