Cameron James are working with a civil engineering organisation who has an annual turnover above £100mil annually who are actively looking for an Assistant Accountant to come and join their growing department. The successful candidate will be studying, if not qualified AAT as a minimum and will be looking for a career to offer longevity and progression.

The Role:

• Maintaining daily cashbook
• Managing all petty cash and petty cash analysis
• Generating and posting invoices
• Updating all external valuations payment data
• Monthly bank reconciliations


The Candidate:

• Studying or qualified AAT minimum
• Previous experience in an industry finance team would be advantageous
• Ability to actively use Microsoft Office including Excel
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work as part of a team or standalone and able to use own initiative
