Buyer

The Company
Due to continued expansion, one of the UK’s largest wholesalers recruiting for a Buyer to join their international procurement team.

The Role
The buyer will have their own product groups and suppliers and be responsible for sourcing, product introduction and stock availability.

Key duties will be:


• Accountability for stock availability and accuracy.
• Introduction of new products within their sector.
• Maintaining and improving on Sla’s and KPI’s, specifically profit margin on product lines.
• Working with Product Testers & Marketing Teams to bring these products to the Market.
• Achieve both best price/quality/value



Requirements:

• Experience of global sourcing, price negotiation and supply management of finished goods from the Far East and Europe.
• Knowledge of Inventory systems and have been within a retail or wholesale environment.
• Undertaking and producing market analysis reports on competitors and new products.
• You will have been in a similar position with another company and looking to develop your career with a market leading company.
