I am currently recruiting for an experienced Analyst to join an international market leader and their marketing department


The role's main purpose is to support the business with business planning in terms of actual planning/forecasting, initiative set up, analysis associated to performance and all associated reporting development. Candidates must be able to bring information together as well as analyse and interpret the data for the relevant teams.

Working within an established team, key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Business planning and analysis of the business for UK and Ireland(country volume & revenue plans, market sizing, market share, business plan presentation)
• Report monthly volume and revenue variance analysis for UK and Ireland
• Analyse and create volume and revenue forecasts for UK and Ireland areas
• Creation and management of recurring measurement/data and reporting requests for the Marketing Department
• Support the development of department-wide measurement processes that maximise the use of information and data (using Microsoft office and automation in VBA).
• Liaise with Department Heads for country marketing measurement in terms of guidance, training, idea generation, etc.


For this role candidates must have a undergraduate degree - ideally in business management, marketing, statistics, decision sciences, mathematics or computer science.

Strong analytical skills are essential - MS Office expertise, with a thorough understanding of Access or other relationship databases, knowledge of Microsoft SQL server desirable. Advance level in Excel (formulas, pivot tables) with a basic understanding of macros and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).

Statistical methods and modelling are also an advantage.

In addition to strong analytical skills, candidates must hold strong communication skills and be confident interpreting the reports, be self-directed and team-oriented.
