Assistant Accountant - IMMEDIATE REQUIREMENT

Cameron James are working with an established engineering company in Keighley who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to come on board to support the accountancy function. The successful candidate will come from an accountancy background, ideally standalone and will have the autonomy to drive the accountancy function forward.

The Role:

• Solely responsible for the monthly and weekly payroll function
• Dealing with all areas of purchase ledger
• Assisting in management accounts and month end accounting
• Bank reconciliations
• Matching, batching and coding invoices


The Candidate:

• AAT Qualified as a minimum
• Experience within an accounts team is essential
• Must have proven experience with end to end payroll
• Ambitious and proactive
• Team leadership material
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
