The Role
• To deliver a fast, efficient and effective supply chain process to supermarkets.
• To liaise with third party pack houses, clearing agents, suppliers, transport providers and supermarket depts. in the provision, analysis and exchange of data and information required to support and maintain an effective and efficient supply chain process.
• To work with the Finance, Sales, Technical and Procurement teams and the wider teams in the provision, analysis and exchange of data and information required to support and maintain an effective and efficient supply chain process.
Main Duties
• Process Supermarket Orders
• Weekly Supplier Programmes
• Stock Management
• Invoice and Credit Note Processing
• Month End Accrual Process
• Collate Import Documentation
• Analyse Pack House Job Sheets
• Interpret Quality Control Reports
• Raise Claims on Fruit Losses / Advice of Arrivals
Qualifications/ Knowledge & Experience
• Working knowledge of Spanish language (helpful but not essential)
• Knowledge of food and / or experience of working with short life products (preferred but not essential)
• Knowledge of a supply chain process (preferred but not essential)
• Experience of working in a customer facing environment.
• Demonstration of strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven Time management skills: Accustomed to working with and meeting time critical deadlines.
• IT skills : at ease with IT software including Word, Excel.
