Cameron James Professional Recruitment are working with a Business Services Provider who are looking to appoint a HR Advisor. Working within a passionate and dedicated HR team this exciting HR generalist role allows you the opportunity to partner with the business, supporting client groups in the following areas:

· Providing a HR business advisory service to demanding client groups, including corporate function of the business.
· Coaching and advising line managers in all HR generalist matters; from recruitment campaigns and decisions, through to employee relations issues.
· Recruitment practices; job descriptions and adverts writing, Hay grade job evaluation, sourcing appropriate attraction tools, short-listing, interviewing candidates, utilising psychometric assessment tools where appropriate, coaching managers in making appropriate recruitment decisions, offer management in conjunction with budget, processing contracts of employment and secondment and/or amendment contracts.
· Coaching line managers in developing interviewing skills and in conducting best practice performance reviews. In-line with diversity and equality legislation.
· Providing careers advice to internal applicants, taking into consideration organisational talent management.
· Providing visa and eligibility to work in the UK advice, including assigning certificate of sponsorships for Tier 2 visa applications.
· Case management; including probation management, unsatisfactory performance management, disciplinary and grievance cases, sickness absence, investigation meetings for harassment and bullying cases.
· Coaching and advising line managers through consultation meetings and restructuring.
· Monitoring fixed-term contracts and visa expiry, to holding disciplinary meetings where applicable.
· Advising line managers and employees on family-friendly legislation; including maternity, paternity, adoption, parental leave, and managing formal flexible working requests.
· Conducting exit interviews and sharing key trends/patterns with management as appropriate.
· Line management of a HR Assistant(s). Providing regular feedback and ensuring development.
· Learning and development; conducting training sessions, including orientation and maternity/adoption and paternity guidance workshops.
· Evaluating and updating HR processes and policies to ensure always providing a high level of customer service and meeting legal requirements.
· Annual Performance Related Pay process.
· Monthly review of management information.


Person Specification:

• The successful candidate will be a graduate with a good working knowledge of employment legislation and ideally be full or part CIPD qualified.
• You will be passionate about HR and a have good sound generalist experience which will include managing recruitment campaigns including interviewing and advising managers on selection decisions and advising managers on interviewing.
• You will have previous experience of managing various case work such as probationary and performance management issues and experience of coaching line manager’s to resolve any people related matters within their teams.
• It is essential that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have an aptitude for analysing data.
• You will be able to build strong credible relationships quickly with stakeholders across the business at varying levels and you will be a dedicated team player.
