Cameron James are pleased to be working with a large Transportation company based in the Grimsby area looking for an HR Co-Ordinator.
The company offer excellent development opportunities and training within a close knit team environment. This position is a perfect bridging opportunity for a candidate looking for extensive HR experience in a Generalist area, with a key focus on HR Systems and procedures as well as administration.
The ideal person for this role must be:

• CIPD qualified or working towards this
• A Driver (due to location)
• Have extensive Excel experience and ideally Pivot table use/knowledge
• Be able to pass a CRB check


The main responsibilities of this position are:



• To be able to work in a small HR team, and support both HR Manager and Advisor in all administration when required
• To be the first point of contact within HR ensuring that all staff and managers receive appropriate advice and support, through signposting or effective communication.
• Ensure that all HR related data is input accurately in Kronos Time and Attendance/Sage HR
• Have a demonstrable understanding of legislative compliance within HR
• Accurate completion of all administrative procedures relating to starters, issuing new starter packs including: offer letters, contracts, reference checking and ISPS forms and arranging pre-employment medicals.
• Ensure all staff and training files are kept up to date
• Deal with voucher issues at various times of the year
• Assist the HR Advisor in arranging training programmes and accommodation for the arrival of foreign students. Also assist with UK bank accounts and National Insurance Numbers.
• Provide HR support in the absence of the HR Advisor
• Provide relevant and up to date HR spreadsheet information as and when required for local and Group activities
• Monitor and input sickness/absence and chase up any outstanding Return to Work Interview Forms and assist with management absence processes within the business
• Attend disciplinary meetings and investigations where required, support and advise managers ensuring compliance with company and UK employment law.
