Cameron James are currently working with a National Civil Engineering company who are looking to appoint a pivotal member of staff as an Administration Manager.

The ideal person will be/have:

• A strong, tenacious self-starter with experience as an Office Manager ideally from a construction environment
• Effective communication at a senior level
• Proven Man Management skills
• Ability to drive through change


The Role entails the following responsibilities:

• Organisation of the Administration Function to ensure appropriate and efficient administration services and systems are in place to support the business
• Supervise and support the team of administrators, coordinating their work output, managing their performance and skills development as required.
• Office Management : negotiating and managing supplies/utilities contracts
• Initial set up of project files; input and update of project information
• Setting up and maintenance of tender files
• Collation of tender submissions; completion of documentation and submission of tenders via portal
• Collation of KPI information and ad-hoc reporting
• Co-ordination of training administration; skills competency matrix and accommodation bookings
• Co-ordination of collection and collation of site paperwork.
• Oversee management of holiday requests, travel/accommodation and managers’ weekly movements
• Provide administrative cover to other Administrators during periods of absence or unexpected high volumes of work
• Liaise with management to identify administration needs and develop appropriate processes to deliver an efficient service.


Hours of work are Monday-Friday 9-5.

Salary scale is Β£26,000 - Β£28,000
