PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK - MANCHESTER


An exciting new position has become available to work for a high street retail company based in Manchester. My client is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their accounts team of 8. You will be responsible for all aspects of the Purchase Ledger and assist payment runs on a weekly / monthly basis.

KEY DUTIES
• Reconciling delivery notes to invoices and purchase orders
• Dealing with payment queries
• Process purchase ledger transactions accurately and within a timely manner
• Complying with company policy and procedures
• Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques
• To assist the Finance Manager with any financial tasks


IDEAL CANDIDATE


The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience within such a role, furthermore my client would like the individuals to be familiar with Excel. My client is looking to pay between £17,000 - £20,000 dependant on the candidate’s experience.
