Our client has an exciting new opportunity to join their rapidly expanding FMCG business as a Packaging Manager. The role will see you join the company who are a specialist prepared Food marketing company whose objective is to supply innovative prepared food packs offering the very best eating experience. Our client is one of the UK's foremost food marketing companies, with exclusive varieties and global supply from dedicated growers.


The key to their success in their business is Innovation : their range is constantly evolving, with new products developed based on consumer needs & research to ensure their deliver what the consumers want.

The Role:

• To manage the provision of the full range of packaging related activities in line with functional / business objectives and the operational demands of the company.
• To be responsible for the accurate and timely provision of packaging information, new packaging development, stock management and forecasting and customer management, working with the management team and other internal and external stakeholders.
• To support the Supply Chain Manager in the management of manufacturers of our client’s materials and other related activities and initiatives as required.


Main Duties:

• Procurement - Stock Management and Forecasting
• Supporting New Packaging Development
• Packaging Master Data
• Manufacturers Management
• Customer Management


Experience Required:

• Minimum of three years’ experience working within a similar role
• Knowledge of forecasting and planning tools
• Experience and acute understanding of Stock Management Control processes
• Proven success in the management and development of multiple stakeholder relationships
• Industry experience essential
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload.
• Proven Time management skills: Accustomed to working with and meeting time critical deadlines.
• Data inputting and analytical skill. Accustomed to working with and interpreting data.
• Resilient. Accustomed to Problem Solving.
• Self-starter and proactive with good attention to detail.
• IT skills : Advanced working knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point software applications. Experience of Navision ERP a distinct advantage
