Job Information

I am currently recruiting for an experienced DBS (Criminal Records Checks) Administrator for a facilities organisation near St Albans.

The successful candidate MUST have experience of vetting candidates for references and DBS Checks. They will have good attention to detail and be able to work in a fast paced environment. You will be working as part of a team but you must be able to work on own initiative as well.

This is an initial 6 month contract and candidates must be able to start immediately.

Key responsibilities:

• Answer external and internal phone calls
• Enter data into the appropriate HR management system so that accurate records are maintained,
• Provide data for and support preparation of management reports in a timely manner
• Maintain and develop the personnel filing system specifically manage all stored data both soft and hard versions, efficiently and consistently in line with departments needs and systems
• Administer the Recruitment administration process
• Carry out any other reasonable ad hoc duties in order to support the department and develop self
• Undertake other duties as directed by line managers commensurate with the post


PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Methodical approach with an ability to work under pressure
• Uses own initiative and can work independently
• Has a good understanding of CRB (high level) application procedures (desirable)
• Has a good understanding of Security vetting and SIA License application procedures
• Takes responsibility for own work
• Proficient use of all Microsoft programmes
• Excellent presentational skills for all correspondence, letters, presentations and data
• Excellent Organisational skills
• Records information accurately
• Pays attention to detail
• Excellent levels of grammar
• Can “keep up” and excel within a fast paced environment
• A considerable knowledge and experience working with Microsoft tools is essential
