A prestigious, and well established independent insurance brokerage based in Wakefield are seeking an experience SME Account Handler to join their established exiting business team.

Working as part of their SME team you will be responsible for broking renewal cases, supporting mid-term adjustments and aiding in technical enquiries.

A large part of the role will be liaising directly with clients and underwriters on a regular basis, it is therefore imperative that you are literate, articulate and professional in your manner. Handling a variation of risks for premiums up to £25,000.

It is essential that you have a proven track record working within a broking environment handling SME cases, and are comfortable working autonomously in the role utilising your existing skills and experience.

To be considered for the role you will need to have at least 3 years’ experience working in a broking environment, with experience handling a variety of cross-class commercial risks. Experience with Acturis would be advantageous.
