Accounts Assistant - 8-12 month FTC

Cameron James are working on behalf of a well known FMCG company who are looking for an Accounts Assistant for an 8-12 month FTC as a maternity cover. The successful candidate will be motivated and driven and will come from a similar background with a transferable skill set.

The Role:

• Sales ledger management including all invoicing
• All aspects of Credit Control - approx 150-300 live accounts
• Sales order processing onto Sage
• Reconciliations of the sales ledger
• General invoicing and collections
• Adhoc purchase ledger
• Assisting in Month end management accounts and trial balance


The Candidate:

• Experience in an all round accountancy position is essential
• Must be able to cope in a high pressure, high volume environment
• Ability to work on own initiative is imperative
• Quick learner with the confidence to question any issues
• Proven background in sales ledger, credit control and purchase ledger is essential
• Proficient user of Sage (preferably 200) and Excel
