Purchase Ledger Clerk - 9 month FTC (Maternity cover)

£15k - £17k + bonus

Cameron James are working with one of the UK's leading suppliers of office support equipment who are looking for an immediately available Purchase Ledger Clerk to step into a full on position to cover a maternity leave. The successful candidate will have experience in ALL areas of purchase ledger including setting up payment runs and will be able to cope in a high volume, high pressure environment.

The Role:

• Actively managing approximately 50 live accounts
• Dealing with over 300 invoices monthly
• Resolving all payment queries and ensure all invoices are paid on time
• Liaising with purchasing department, warehouse and customers on a daily basis
• Setting up payment runs for authorisation
• Multi-currency accounts including Euro and working with exchange rates


The Candidate:

• Must have proven experience within end to end purchase ledger
• Working with over 300 invoices monthly is essential
• Must have the ability to time manage effectively
• Excellent telephone manner is essential
• Ability to prioritise workload
