My client, based in the Stanmore area, is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their expanding organisation. This role, within a property management organisation, is a vital part of the team and needs someone who has a hands on attitude. Working within a team of 3, this role reports into the Accountant.

Main duties:

• Assisting with Management accounts
• Entering journals, prepayments and accruals
• Performing VAT returns
• Assisting with external audit
• Maintaining ledgers
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with statutory accounts


Ideal candidate:

• 4+ years’ in a similar role
• Knowledge of QuickBooks : essential
• Experience within a construction/property company
• Flexible approach to day to day tasks
