Job Information

Cameron James are looking for an immediately available HR/General Office Administrator for an innovative bespoke furniture and interior textile company based in the greater Manchester area (M28).

The role encompasses all aspects of HR Administration working closely with the HR Manager to ensure the following:

• All starters and leavers information accurately input into the HR system
• Issue of all contracts, chasing of references etc. managed in a timely fashion
• To take minutes during any disciplinary/grievance procedures
• To ensure all data regarding employees is accurate and adheres to data protection
• To arrange external training courses as necessary
• To liaise with payroll regarding nay Maternity/Paternity leave, long term absence, and other changes
• Any ad hoc requests for administration


The role will also work across all other managers in the business and general office administration so they are looking for someone willing to get involved in all areas and have general office skills not purely HR experience.

Additional responsibilities will include:

• Organisation of diaries, travel arrangements and meetings
• Typing of correspondence as necessary
• General data inputting and production of management information


The ideal person will have:

• Experience across all aspects of HR Administration
• An appetite for a challenging and varied position
• Ability to multi-task and deal with managers and staff on a daily basis as well as completing daily tasks
• Excellent IT skills across Microsoft Office including Excel.
• Be immediately available or have a short notice period (1-2 weeks)
