My Doncaster based client is currently recruiting for a Fully Qualified Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent basis to head up a team of 3.

Ideally looking for candidates who have a construction background but this is not essential

This is a senior opportunity and candidates will be hands on and have to report to the board regularly with the overall responsibility of the managing the accounts team

Duties include:

• Management reports and analysis for the monthly board meetings
• Assessing finance strategy and evaluating business performance
• Advising the board on financial management, including risk and opportunity
• Managing of a team of 3
• Ensuring all cash flow forecast, journals and VAT are completed on time
• Preparing of supplier payments
• Assisting with producing of year end accounts


Key skills:

• Previous experience of FC position
• Sage 50 experience
• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
