Our client based in Moorgate London requires an IFA Administrator/paraplanner.


Administrator Job Role:


To support a team of advisers in their day to day duties. Liaising with clients, keying client information to our back office systems (intelligent office and SWIFT). Preparing client documents, including suitability reports and information for client appointments, 1st, 2nd and ongoing review appointments. Ensuring all new business requests are processed within a timely manner. Must be efficient and remain calm when working under pressure.





Administrator Job Specification
• Reviewing existing plans and researching new products as per our guidelines set out by compliance.
• Preparing suitability reports using suitability templates across all products (Investments, pension, life)
• Preparing first meeting and sign up meeting packs and documentation
• Processing new business across Investments, Pensions and Life products.
• Processing surrender, withdrawal and fund switch requests across Investments, Pensions and Life products.
• Chase pipeline business for any outstanding requirements until completion and ensuring that business is placed on risk as per our suitability recommendations.
• Data inputting of all client information and plan details using Intelligent Office and SWIFT
• Liaising and dealing with Client, Adviser and Provider correspondence including telephone, email and letter all within a timely manner.
• Obtaining valuations of client portfolios
• Processing letters of authority and ensuring all information is returned.
• General Office duties : opening and allocating post, sending out post, ad hoc reception cover


Person Specification
• Previous administration experience working within an IFA or wealth Management company is a MUST (at least 2 years)
• Good knowledge of investments, life &pensions
• Previous experience using product provider platforms
• Professional telephone manner
• Must be comfortable and confident dealing with clients
• Excellent organisational skills
• Accurate data input
• Strong IT skills using Outlook, Word and Excel
• A 'can do' attitude and a positive approach to work
• Preferably R01-5 qualified or working towards
