Cameron James are working with one of the UK's leading providers of consumer professional services to find a 3 Month Fixed Term Contract HR Administrator for their offices near Chorley. With diverse brands and businesses, this is a busy and important position within a strong existing team.

The role:

As a Human Resources Administrator your role will predominantly involve supporting the HR team with a number of generalist admin and telephone work.

Your other responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the HR Team with recruitment administration this includes CV sifting, advertising and sending out selection tests.
• Assisting the HR Team with pre-employment checks, chasing references and ensuring that every starter receives a starter pack and a planned induction journey.
• Setting up new starter records and archiving leavers
• Assisting the HR Team with issuing contracts, offer letters and carrying out HR processing as and when required.
• Proactively ensuring that the staff communication boards are updated
• Supporting the HR Team with intranet and HR System updates
• Issuing ex-employee references




The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Previous experience of using a HR database and Microsoft Office packages
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
• Previous experience of working in a Generalist HR/Recruitment Assistant/Administrator role within a busy office environment
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
