Job Information

Cameron James Professional Recruitment is working with a professional services organisation who are looking to appoint a HR Administrator to ensure that the HR Department administration is dealt with efficiently and accurately. The HR Administrator will be responsible for the proactive and effective production, organisation and delivery of the HR, recruitment and benefits administration.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accuracy of information held on the HRIS
• Updating employee files as necessary for salary review and change of personal details and ensuring these details are passed to payroll for processing
• Inputting new starters onto system and archiving leavers
• Absence reporting
• Checking timesheet printouts against professional staff holiday bookings/absence
• Maintaining an online database of personnel files
• Generation of monthly reporting
• Supporting the HR Manager twice yearly in the Salary Review Process
• Assisting with the induction process as required
• Supporting any HR related project or initiative
• Assisting with monthly payroll as and when necessary
• Booking interviews and telephone interviews
• Preparing for and assisting on Assessment Days
• Pensions administration
• Annual benefits renewal
• Any other ad-hoc duties as may be required


Person Specification

• Excellent administrative and organisational skills with an ability to progress a number of tasks simultaneously, prioritise workload and maintain effective systems
• Solid administrative experience, ideally within Professional Services
• Excellent proactive skills and ability to carry out tasks without the need for chasing
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
• Educated to A level or equivalent
• Professional and confident with a can do attitude with the ability to forge professional relationships
• Database admin and reports generation experience
• IT literate with a strong working knowledge of Word and Excel
• Strong team orientated approach with flexibility regarding tasks undertaken and hours worked
• A confident communicator, able to deal comfortably and credibly with staff at all levels, both internally and externally within formal and social contexts
