Cameron James is looking for a sole Bookkeeper. This role, based in the Leeds area, is a vital part of the organisation as it gets accounts to trial balance before being signed off by the external accountants working in this sole position.

Main duties:

• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Quarterly VAT preparation
• Producing aged creditor/debtor reports
• Processing CIS returns
• Chasing outstanding debt
• Managing ledgers
• Getting accounts to trial balance


Ideal candidate:

• Experience of dealing with statutory accounts and year-end audits
• Knowledge of CIS returns : desirable
• Proficient with Sage and Excel
• Ability to work well in a standalone position
•
