Job Information

Cameron James are working with a leading Logistics company based in HD postcode looking for a 3 month contract HR Manager to support with a short period of change in the company.
The HR Manager will be working on specific projects during this period including Tupe, Redundancies and the roll out of a new HR system. Therefore having led on all 3 of these areas previously is a necessity and demonstrable examples of this will be required.


The role will also encompass the following:



Build strong business relationships across both Head Office Managers and Field Managers and employees to ensure that HR is seen as a key integral part of the business

Act as an additional level of advice for line managers on escalated policy and procedural issues

Assist the key managers in upskilling for leading in disciplinary and grievance procedures, being able to direct and be involved as necessary.

Participate in developing departmental goals, objectives and systems and work proactively to continually improve the quality and timeliness of HR departmental processes

Support and contribute towards general HR department activities as required

Take the lead on Tupe (in and out) Redundancies incorporating all parts of the processes and upskilling the HR Advisor in these processes.

Be highly IT literate and able to roll out the new HR system across the business

Contribute to ongoing HR initiatives and projects as required

Assume other responsibilities as assigned by the HR Manager and Head of HR

Maintain knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice

Able to demonstrate HR knowledge and experience across Tupe/Redundancies/HR Systems

Initiative to drive forward HR processes and shape new projects
Understands company and departmental objectives and priorities and works to meet them
Excellent knowledge of employment law
The ability to effectively communicate at all levels

Excellent IT skills

Desirable skills:

CIPD Qualification or equivalent

Crystal reporting knowledge

Manufacturing environment experience

Heavily Unionised Environments
