My client is a successful and established SME company based in Crawley and they are looking for an experienced Accountant to work in a stand-alone role.

The role will be a hands-on position; you will be fully responsible for the finance function and all day to day accounting. This varied and challenging role will include the following key duties and responsibilities;

• Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed analysis, using Iris Exchequer
• Prepare monthly forecasts
• Prepare accounts for several entities.
• Maintain the ledgers
• Monitor bank accounts daily and produce bank reconciliation's
• Process the monthly SAGE payroll
• Develop accounting controls and procedures


For this role it is essential that candidates are fully qualified- ACCA/ACA/CIMA or QBE and have proven experience working as an Accountant / Management Accountant within a fast paced and dynamic organisation. Working in busy and dynamic environment, it is essential that candidates have strong communication skills and are confident dealing with people across the business. Candidates who have worked previously within an SME would be of particular interest to my client. It is essential that you have used IRIS Exchequer.
