PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK

My client is recruiting for a Purchase Ledger clerk to join their busy and fast growing team on a full time, permanent basis. The role has just become available due to expansion and is a very positive, forward thinking and well established business to get into. Their hoping for the right candidate to work closely with the Finance manager, learning and excelling within their career to work their way up in the company.

SUMMARY

• 37.5 hours per week
• Good transport routes
• Career progression to support Finance Manager
• 28 days holiday (including bank holiday)




MAIN DUTIES

• Updating and maintaining purchase ledger for 4 franchises
• Matching, batching and coding of invoices
• High volume invoice processing
• Meeting strict deadlines
• Cheque runs
• Dealing with queries
• Petty cash
• ADHOC duties




IDEAL CANDIDATE

This role is ideal for an all-round accounts professional looking to pursue a position in the purchase ledger area with the ambition and dedication to progress and learn to move forward within the company.
