Cameron James is pleased to be working in partnership with a leading global based professional services organisation currently looking for an HR Advisor to join their team on a permanent, full time basis.

As the stand alone HR in this site you will report directly into the Managing Director and work closely with the senior management team to embed and deliver an HR strategic plan over the next 24 months to improve the overall team morale, skills base, HR policy setting, succession planning, communication at all levels and recruitment process.

Key areas of responsibility and focus will encompass:

• Build relationships with employees at all levels of the team with particular focus on developing strong relationships with key stakeholders within the UK management team to drive and implement change
• Develop line managers in their leadership and management skills
• Oversee HR administration to resolve difficult situations by developing, communicating and implementing HR policies that are updated to reflect changing legislation & support the needs of the business
• Work with line managers to identify talented team members and assist in formulation of development plans
• Coach Managers in dealing with difficult situations with team members to reduce risk of disciplinary action and or escalation of issues
• Support Management team members in recruiting new employees, structured induction process and dismissing departing employees in line with the formal HR polices
• Provide feedback and improvement plans for Management team and line managers
• Develop relationships with wider team members to enable them to feel comfortable to share and discuss matters of concern, stress and or work related issues in confidence


The ideal person will have:

• CIPD qualification or equivalent
• Have relevant experience at this level and demonstrable examples
• Be highly analytical
• Have gravitas and be able to negotiate and lead at a senior level.
