Job Information

Cameron James are currently working with a National Civil Engineering company who are looking to appoint a Document Controller to be based from their Leeds Office. This is a new stand- alone role responsible for ensuring that the Compliance of their documentation, and all communication with their major contractor is accurate and detailed.



The role encompasses:

Daily Information processes:

• Inputting all information as required from landowners, subcontractors, services and main network contractor
• Using Excel Spreadsheets to track information and ensure it is compliant


Weekly Inputting:

• Spread sheet preparation;
• Liaise with site managers;
• Submit weekly information and ensure corrections for management information spreadsheets
• Make last minute alterations in a timely fashion
• Ensure that all contracts are inputted and submitted before week end for payroll changes


Monthly Correlation:

• Ensure that all reports and documents are submitted before end of month cut off
• Liaise across all departments and managers to ensure any corrections or changes are actioned in time
• Produce reports in time for monthly and weekly management meetings


The ideal person will be/have:

• Use of various Microsoft Office applications - Word; Excel; Outlook.
• Practical office administrative experience;
• Excellent planning/organisational skills
• Good interpersonal skills and / or conflict situations;
• Confident and assertive personality with the ability to deal with ambiguity.
• Proactive and capable of acting autonomously
• Educated to A level standard
