Cameron James Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a distribution organisation in Southampton.

This is a Temporary to Permanent opportunity and requires someone who can start immediately.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar position previously. Have extensive experience in payroll administration and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be self confident and driven with team spirit and have commitment to team objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing the payroll processing timetable.
• Processing Timesheets
• Inputting of Starts and Leavers to the system.
• Process payroll administration for the company.
• Set up the bank payments for payroll.
• Correspond and communicate with HMRC in all aspects of payroll including RTI.
• Liaising with outside providers, ensuring deadlines are met for payroll
• Data inputting to the UK payroll software
• Preparing payroll and payment journals
• Dealing with any queries from the accounts department
• General Administration duties, supporting the HR team.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Experience gained within a similar Administration Role
• Experience of inputting and Processing Payroll
• Excellent IT and Microsoft office skills
• Good Attention to detail
