Insurance Account Handler : Property Team

Location : Surrey, South East London

Salary - £18,000 - £26,000 per annum

Established in 1994, this company base their success on hard work and excellent customer service. Due to growth within the team they are recruiting for a new Account Handler to assist with their commercial property business.

The starting salary is dependent on experience and the position is full time, five days a week.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Account Handler:

• Deal with mainly Residential Property Owners and some Commercial Property Owners insurance including Blocks of Flats, Offices and small Shops
• Handle New Business, Renewals and MTAs
• Deal with all new insurance business enquires from a range of UK-wide clients
• Prepare and issue all quotations and insurance documentation
• Generating new leads and following up existing leads
• Dealing with individuals and some SME clients with premiums up to around £10,000
• Handling all complaints, queries and issues
• Acting as first point of contact for clients when claims arise


Requirements of the Account Handler:

• The successful candidate MUST have at least 2 years’ insurance experience in dealing with Residential Property Owners from a Broker or Underwriter background
• Knowledge of Commercial risks is a bonus
