Job Information

Cameron James Professional Recruitment are working with a National organisation who are looking to appoint a HR Officer for a Fixed Term of 12 months. The HR Officer will provide an efficient HR and Payroll administration service and be a first point of contact for all HR queries.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the monthly payroll process by liaising with outsourced payroll company and Finance department to ensure an accurate and timely payroll service:
• Processing any salary changes and processing new starters / leavers
• Completion of year end returns i.e. forms P11D
• Healthcare and dental schemes renewals and claims
• Preparing and submitting the monthly GAYE return and regular auditing to ensure process is correct
• Administer childcare vouchers / ride to work scheme
• Processing season ticket loans
• Reviewing processes for the of the payroll and benefits administration and recommending improvements, documenting procedures
• To provide administration support for the recruitment of all vacancies


• Assisting in the documentation of recruitment strategy and timetable for all vacancies
• Assisting in data collection the salary benchmarking for all new vacancies
• Assisting in recruitment administration
• Supporting the Company training plan
• Researching training solutions as identified in the appraisals
• Booking and co-coordinating training and keeping spreadsheets to monitor costs
• Maintaining the HR database : running management information reports
• Contributing the development of Policies and Procedures Manual
• Processing absence and holiday forms
• Supporting the preparation for the HR Committee and other committees which are set up
• First point of contact for all queries
• HR project administration
• Drafting employment letters


Person Specification:

• Part Qualified Member of the CIPD with experience of working within HR Administration
• knowledge of current HR practice and employment legislation
• strong IT experience and ability to design management information
• Experience of project work and Admin system improvements
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work productively.
