Our client are a leading Agricultural / Farming focused insurance broker who is looking for an Account Handler to join their internal team to support Agricultural Brokers and Account Executives across North Yorkshire.

Responsibilities:

• Managing clients insurance within the Agricultural / Farming Sector
• Dealing with as a result a wide range of commercial risks
• Handling mid-term adjustments, renewals and new business enquiries
• Managing your own renewals list whilst contributing to team targets
• Support account executive staff with their portfolios of clients
• Develop strong relationships with clients and 3rd parties to ensure clients get the best possible service
• Negotiating effectively with insurance companies and MGA's to secure best cover / price


Skills:



• Experience within the Insurance Industry with particular reference to Agricultural commercial insurance is highly preferable
• A keen interest or background in Farming is a real benefit
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to discuss the industry with clients
• Strong administration skills
• Preferably Cert CII, or qualification/experience of equivalence
