Account Executive : Commercial Insurance

Location : Devon/Cornwall

Salary - £20,000 : £25,000+ (Plus Annual Bonus & Excellent Benefits)

This company was established in early 1900’s and due to growth this successful organisation are now looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Executive to join their fast growing Commercial Insurance team.

They are seeking a highly motivated, experienced person who works well as part of a team and pays excellent attention to detail.

You will possess excellent communication skills, knowledge and experience of all classes of commercial insurance

The right candidate can look forward to development into senior management and beyond.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To secure new business & clients on behalf of the company, to include broking, negotiation of terms & all other associated tasks
• To develop & take part in marketing campaigns on behalf of the company
• To maximise the conversion of enquiries into new business
• Generally assisting in the office where instructed by the directors/management
• Responsibility for ensuring that the service given to all clients, existing, new & prospective, is of the highest quality
• To cross sell the products & benefits offered by the company
• To carry out other duties pertaining to the business as directed from time to time by the directors/management
• To service (including claims) of acquired business
• The renewal, including rebroking of secured & existing business



Requirements for the Account Executive : Insurance Role:

• Certified CII is preferred but not essential
• A minimum of 3 years Commercial experience is vital
• Experience at a previous brokers is a must
