Job Information

My client, based in Watford, are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team : this role is a 6 month fixed term contract. This role is responsible for providing accountancy and administrative assistance to the accountancy team.

Main Duties:

• Purchase Ledger : processing invoices; checking purchase invoices; invoice distribution; processing cheques; preparing remittances
• Sales Ledger : raising invoices for customers; debtor list updates; raising credit notes; posting invoices
• Daily Banking
• Maintaining Cash Books
• Cheque payments
• Maintain ad hoc reports
• General Admin

Key Skills:

• 3 years’ + in a similar accounts assistant role
• Strong computer skills
