My client, based in Brighouse, is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their expanding business. The national company is wanting someone who is wanting to succeed in the stable Purchase Ledger position. This role would be well suited to someone with experience within Accounts Payable who is now wanting to establish themselves in a reputable company and progress.

Main duties:

• Processing and authorising invoices
• Reconciling delivery notes
• Dealing with all payment queries
• Setting up new supplier accounts
• Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
• Generating BACS payments
• Assist with Ad Hoc duties

Ideal candidate:

• 1-3+ years’ experience in a Purchase Ledger role
• Looking for progression
• Working knowledge of Sage or similar systems
• Good Excel knowledge : Pivot Tables/V Lookups
• Punctual to deadlines

This role will suit someone who is wanting to build upon a foundation of Purchase Ledger knowledge. For this role my client is looking at offering up to Β£16,000 dependant on experience.
