Cameron James Professional Recruitment are currently recruiting for an HR Advisor with a specific slant towards HR system management and analysis on a permanent basis.

The role:
HR Systems/Analysis
To assess the current HR system and ensure it is being used to its full capacity for all Management reporting and analysis facilities
To cascade training of the HR system through the company
To Produce Quarterly Management reports across all aspects of the HR related aspects of the business such as pensions and attrition.
To design and maintain the reporting system to provide relevant trend analysis for the Board and senior management
To ensure that all User agreements on the system are up to date and correctly authorized
To provide support to the HR Manager by reviewing and updating current policies and developing new ones as appropriate
To liaise with Company solicitors in relation to any potential or ongoing Tribunal claims as and when required, and communicate key information.
To review existing HR policies and procedures, ensuring that the details are correct and that they are properly authorised and placed on the company intranet if appropriate.
To produce redundancy calculations as required ensuring these are in line with current terms and conditions

Generalist HR
To provide HR advice to managers on disciplinary, grievance and employment matters assisting if necessary with associated letters and documents
To monitor and update Employment Law changes ensuring the management team are abreast of any changes
To conduct HR inductions for new line managers
Attend management meetings and contribute to the commercial drive of the company through innovative ideas and suggestions from an HR perspective
To attend Disciplinary and Grievance hearings as and when required taking notes and advising independently on points of the process
To conduct job interviews alongside Line Managers coaching as required and ensuring correct associated documentation is sent out.

The Person:
Must have CIPD Qualified or equivalent
Degree Educated
Have worked as an HR Advisor within a large manufacturing/logistical/engineering business ideally
Have an understanding of a Unionised environment
Have dealt with remote managers and be able to offer advice and support via telephone or email
