Cameron James Professional Recruitment are looking for an HR Assistant for a UK Wide Hospitality Business based in the Bradford area. This is a position to provide administrative support within the HR department as well as supporting off site management with any HR queries.

The Role:
Administration:

To record and maintain the staff database particularly with relation to absence management
To understand and use the Bradford Factor Recording System to monitor absence and flag patterns and issues to the relevant member of management
To assist with the production and issuing of HR documentation, including letters, policy updates and procedural changes ensuring these are communicated clearly and in a professional manner
To ensure that annual leave is recorded accurately and the HR system updated with this
To collate changes required by the payroll department such as Maternity/Paternity/changes to salary etc. before the payroll monthly cut offs.
To support in preparing minutes for all meetings pertaining to Employment issues such as Grievance/Disciplinary meetings.

Additional Duties:
To liaise with external Consultants on Employment Law issues and ensure any letters sent out adhere to current legislation
To act as first line HR support for managers on initial queries, and escalate to the HR Coordinator if required.
To ensure that data protection and confidentiality are adhered to with all sensitive data

The Person:
Will have worked within an HR department and have an understanding of the letters and legislation
Ideally have CIPD or equivalent
Have excellent IT skills specifically with Microsoft Office
Have proven time management and organisational skills
Have the ability to collate and analyse information for production of reports
Have a professional outlook and high level of literacy
