A well-established independent insurance brokerage are looking to expand their sales team by appointing a Sales Executive at their office based South of Leeds towards Wakefield.

The successful candidate for one of these fast paced and highly pivotal sales positions must be an inspiring and proven insurance professional who will be responsible for advising and closing insurance products sales to commercial clients.

They will have good knowledge of commercial insurance products across a multitude of business sectors and will continue this as well as their technical ability through a personal development plan and formal qualifications where applicable.

A confident individual is a prerequisite, as is their ability to deliver business targets with pride and passion within a busy, demanding environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining records, both paper and electronic files
• Working with clients to obtain accurate statement of facts for their needs
• Preparing risk presentations to insurers
• Negotiating terms and pricing with underwriters and insurer panels
• Presentation of market rates to new and existing clients
• Closing sales and completion of all file records
• Organising the collection premium payments
• Ongoing account management and follow-up

Key Skills & Competencies

• B2B sales experience
• Ability to work effectively and professionally with colleagues and clients at all levels
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Cert CII or working towards such is desirable
