We are currently recruiting for an excellent opportunity within a media company with a turnover of approximately £13m, with the Head Office in Stamford they have various subsidiaries also abroad. With an established client base and market leader in their field they are recruiting for a Management Accountant position.

The role is to ensure that all systems and financial controls are in place and support in the reporting of management and statutory information both internally and externally. You will be reporting directly into the Head of Finance within in a small team of 4 people so you will be working in a hands on environment.

Duties will include:

Foreign subsidiaries

• Managing the accounts
• General ledger management
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Management Accounts
• Analysis and allocating of sales
• Calculating commissions
• Statutory returns

UK Subsidiaries

• Analysis and recording of sales
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Nominal ledger
• VAT returns
• EC Sales returns
• Month end accounts
• Overseeing purchase ledger
• Compliance
• Supporting banking and cash control
• Statutory accounts
• General ad hoc duties

Key skills:

• Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA Qualification
• Confident on working on own initiative
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong IT skills
