We are currently recruiting for a successful and well established corporate finance firm who are looking for an experienced management accountant. The ideal candidate will be ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA (or equivalent) qualified, and be capable of a top down approach to forecasting and management accounting, without losing sight of the technical detail.

The role will include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed analysis, using Sage Line 50
• Prepare FCA and SEC returns
• Prepare monthly forecasts
• Manage inter-company transactions
• Maintain the ledgers
• Monitor bank accounts daily and produce bank reconciliations
• Process the monthly payroll
• Develop accounting controls and procedures
• Supervise and review junior staff in relation to processing invoice payments and other banking transactions

• Monthly Management Reports
• Creating Budgets and Forecasts
• Cash flow forecasts
• Client invoicing
• Proprietary and Client Account Reconciliations
• FCA Gabriel Reporting
• VAT Calculations for partially exempt and submissions

Essential experience and skills:

• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• 1st or 2:1 UK University Degree
• At least three years’ experience in accounts administration
• Sage Line 50 experience is desirable
• A high level of common sense
