I am currently recruiting for an Accounts Manager in London for a renowned Media organisation.

The Account Manager will work in the UK National Sales Team and have full responsibility of a portfolio of clients and working within a team of sales professionals whom pride themselves on being at the top of their game working for the industry leader. The Account Manager is overall in charge of growing the client portfolio revenue and developing skills and expertise within a team that develops great ideas for famous brands.

They will be responsible for building and maintaining excellent relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities with new and existing advertisers. This is a Senior Level role within the advertising industry selling across the portfolio developing creative opportunities, establishing and managing partnership deals.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in a similar role working within the Media Industry. They will have excellent business development skills and they are highly experienced in selling advertising. Strong planning and organisation skills, along with being an accomplished communicator with be essential in succeeding in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generate maximum revenue by building strong client relationships
• Identify key sales opportunities within new and existing clients
• Distinguish key areas for future business development
• Grow a comprehensive understanding of advertisers’ business and media objectives.
• To work as an ambassador on behalf of the business
• Work closely with The Business Director and Marketing to deliver the best representation to clients
• Be a forward thinking, creative and innovative member of the team.
• A visionary who can inspire colleagues and clients to bring new revenues in from other media.
• Provide feedback, sales leads and best practice methods to colleagues and Business/Associate Directors taken from client meetings and conversations.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Previous experience in business development role selling advertising
• Proven account of established contacts
• Experience in a similar position in a media agency sales role
• Understanding of creative planning, research and evaluation tools
• An accomplished communicator at all levels with excellent presentation skills
• Strong planning and organisational ability
• Ability to persuade and influence across all levels
• A proactive leader
