HR Advisor: Wakefield, West Yorkshire; Permanent; £24,000 - £28,000

Cameron James are working with a fast paced FMCG Business based in Normanton to recruit an HR Advisor to join their close knit team. With over 1000 employees across all levels the role is varied, fast paced and challenging fitting the needs of the business in relation to hours and style. This is a generalist role which will see a particular focus on employee relations, as well as providing the opportunity to be involved with other HR projects including performance management and engagement.

As a key member of the HR team your duties will include:

• Providing first point of contact and advice for Managers and employees in a generalist role
• Dealing with a high volume of employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances and absence management
• Mentoring the HR Assistant and sharing best practice across the division
• Involved in recruitment and managing suppliers and contractors
• Developing strong communication and stakeholder management

The ideal person for this position will have:

• HR Manufacturing experience, ideally within FMCG/Food manufacturing business
• Strong HR generalist background with proven ability handling high volume ER caseloads
• Ideally Level 7 CIPD Qualification or working towards/qualified by experience
• Must be able to work autonomously and to tight deadlines
• Be used to following processes and procedures to ensure parity across all areas and issues.
• Have engaged with key stakeholders and successfully implemented change
