About the Commercial SME Account Handler role
You’ll be assisting clients directly with regards to new business, renewals, MTA’s and general queries. Exposure to a broad range of risks for SME level clients paying premiums up to c£20,000. Day to day handling of insurance schemes and working with a delegated authority given by a selection of insurers.

Main duties in the Commercial SME Account Handler role:

• Handling all new business enquiries directly from clients or via referrals from Account Executives
• Process renewals and MTA’s
• Process submissions and liaise with Underwriters
• Keeping up to date with schemes
• Maintain retention rates above a minimum of 85%

The skills you’ll bring to the Commercial Insurance Account Handler role:

• Thorough commercial combined and/or commercial package insurance knowledge
• Minimum two years’ experience dealing with commercial clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service focus
• Organised and effective worker
• Started / completed the CII examinations
