Job Information

Cameron James Professional Recruitment are working with a major international brand who are looking to appoint a HR Officer based in Rayleigh, Essex.

Responsibilities

• Sole responsibility for all day-to-day aspects of the company HR Department.
• Recruitment and selection for all vacancies, within defined budget limits.
• Dealing with aspects of employment law. Working closely with line managers to ensure that performance and disciplinary issues are handled within company procedures and the legal framework.
• Monthly statistical reporting and commentary for business report.
• Regular review and revision of all in-house policies and procedures to meet changing legislation.
• Advising accounts department of monthly payroll adjustments and dealing with pension and taxation queries.
• Manage and administer employee benefits : childcare vouchers, personal pension plan, benefits package, private health care.
• Manage HR induction for all new employees.
• Required to travel to other UK sites in Westcliff and London as necessary
• Monitoring absence.
• Maintaining HR system database and employee files.
• All HR administration documentation: eg: contracts, offer letters employee handbook etc.
• Monitor receipt of staff appraisals and extracting training requirements, twice per annum.
• Pension auto enrolment administration. Knowledge of payroll will be highly beneficial.

Person Specification:

• Preferred CIPD qualified or studying towards
• Experience as a HR Generalist.
• Good organisational, interpersonal, communication and IT skills.
• Car and driving licence
