Job Information

My client based in the City of London are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their growing team. This role focuses on the day to day processing of accounts payable whilst ensuring the finance are up to date and effective.

Main duties:

• Posting and allocating payments
• Verifying invoices
• Matching invoices
• Coding and processing invoices
• Maintaining cashbooks
• Run the Aged Creditors on a weekly basis
• Weekly BACS payments
• Send Remittance to all suppliers paid
• Maintain updated supplier files

Candidate Requirments:

• 2 years’ experience within accounts payable
• Working knowledge of Sage Line 50
• Proficient with MS Office : particularly Excel

This role will best suit someone who is focused with a strong attention to detail who is looking for a steady purchase ledger position.
