HR Manager - 6 Month Fixed Contract - Immediate Need!

We are wokring exclusivly with a leading services company and they are recruiting for an experienced HR Manager for a 6 month contract - to start ASAP.

Reporting into the head of HR, the role will be solely responsible for supporting 1 division of the business. Covering c2000 employees across different sites, the focus of the role will be to ensure best practice in all areas of HR.

For this role candidates will need to have strong TUPE, Change Management, redundancy / restructuring experience, as they will be supporting key stakeholders with HR support in this area. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

•Provide HR advice to management to enable compliance in all areas of employment policy and legislation.
•Assist in the development of policy and procedures to enable compliance in all areas of employment legislation and to ensure best practice in all areas of HR.
•Keep updated on changes in employment legislation, which may affect the business.
•Lead and oversee the preparation and presentation of Employment Tribunals.
•Support management in the development of a succession plan.
•Provide support in the recruitment of managers.
•Where necessary provide support to the business on commercial/client issues.
•Work co-operatively with others to facilitate the achievement of company and corporate objectives.
•Lead or participate in projects and assignments as may be required.
•Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers.
•Support and advise on the Investors in People standards.
•Provide statistical reports to management as and when required.
•Provide HR related training to managers.
•To carry out any other duties required by the business within the scope of the role.

For this role candidates will ideally be studying or qualified CIPD (although not essential) and have proven experience working at this level.

Facilities management, retail, hospitality experience would be advantageous. Although the key requirements for the role is proven experience within TUPE, Change Management, redundancy / restructuring - in addition to HR Generalist experience.
