Role - Account Handler
Location : Newcastle (East)
Salary - £17,000 - £22,000 + 23 Days Holiday + Flexible Benefits +++

An established, family run independent brokerage are looking to add an experienced insurance professional to the team that covers Commercial, Personal and Private Hire risks.

Duties of the Account Handler Role:

• Assist clients directly with regards to cover
• Build strong relationships with clients
• Manage accounts : answering any queries
• Dealing with premiums from £500 - £30,000
• Provide quotes for commercial insurance including Commercial Motor, Private Hire, Property, Commercial Combined, Liability and Packages.
• Preparing presentations for insurers
• Using SSP system on a daily basis
• Utilising e-trade systems and schemes


Requirements for the Account Handler Role:

• At least 2+ years of experience in general insurance
• Computer literate
• Excellent communication : written and verbal
• Live within commutable distance of the office
