Our client a highly reputable and established IFA practise based in London requires an Administrator, with financial services experience to offer support and run the office when needed. Office management experience is desirable.
This exciting opportunity requires somebody with previous experience of an administrative role within financial services and a good understanding of an IFA practice.
Reporting into the practice principal, responsibilities within the role will include;
• Processing new business applications in a timely and compliant manner
• Liaising with product providers, clients and callers as necessary
• Inputting new business and maintaining and ensuring that new and existing records, both computerised and manual, are kept up to date
• All Filing - creating new files and maintaining existing files
• Provide administrative and clerical support to consultants as required
• Office managment when required
Experience in an administrative role within Mortgages is essential as is good computer literacy. Candidates will need good written and verbal skills along with strong organisational skills. Knowledge of whole of market financial products is a must, and candidates must be methodical and possibly have a background in mathematics.
