Our clients are a successful firm of Financial and Wealth Advisors based in London are recruiting for aan Investments Administrator.

Good standard of education required. or desire to progress towards the CII Diploma in Financial Planning would be preferential.
A few years of relevant experience of working in investment operations is vital, regardless of whether it was obtained at a wealth management firm, asset management company, investment house, custodian or wrap provider. Experience of dealing functions associated with purchase of unit trusts / OEICs would be advantageous.

Some knowledge or experience of working for or alongside a wealth management firm would also be useful, including a basic understanding of ISA’s, SIPP’s and General Investment accounts.

As well as having high standards of communication, the ability to build a strong proactive working relationship with your fellow team members, especially the Investment Managers, is essential.

The aptitude to assist the Investment Managers and your team in an efficient, enthusiastic and proactive forward thinking manner by employing organisational skills and prioritising work is also essential. You should be able to work well under pressure using your own initiative, on your own as well as part of a team. Precision and an eye for detail is what this role requires.


Role Overview & Accountabilities

Below is a summary of what is expected from the individual performing this role.

• Assisting the Investment Managers in ensuring that both the Quadrant discretionary investment management service and the Quadrant advisory service operate as efficiently and as effectively as possible.



• Ensuring that all trades placed in conjunction with the Quadrant discretionary investment management service are done so in a timely and correct manner. This will include the rebalancing of Quadrant Portfolios and ensuring that these portfolios are kept updated and correct in terms of funds, allocation and share classes at all times.



• Being responsible for processing new business from initial account set-up through to investment and subsequent reporting. This will involve the tracking of transfers, paperwork, monies and fees.



• Liaising with third party providers, including custodians, product providers and investment houses to assist with operational functionality and processing.



• Being aware of external developments in terms of regulation, taxation, pricing, systems, functionality and competition.



• Maintaining an internal factsheet database of all funds currently being recommended by the company in order to assist Registered Individuals when reporting to clients. These factsheets are to be updated on a quarterly basis and should contain performance and technical data, fund descriptions and objectives, a breakdown of holdings and sector weightings and company comment on these funds.


Remuneration & Particulars

A basic salary will depend on training and experience along with 25 days holiday per annum and a range of generous benefits.
